Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to increase the personal and behavioral independence of individuals affected by ASD and other developmental disabilities. We work extensively with individuals who exhibit a variety of developmental needs and challenging behaviors by building adaptive skills in homes, schools, and community settings.
What is ABA
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of applying empirically-validated treatments to socially significant behaviors in order to produce changes which improve the quality of life for an individual and his or her social support network. ABA treatments are based on the philosophy that behavior is affected by its environment. Changes in behavior can thereby be produced by modifying the way an individual interacts with his or her environment.
Bridges provides ABA Therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities throughout Northwest Alabama. We are currently providers for Tricare and Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance and private pay. We also contract with schools across Northwest Alabama.
